Rev Jeremiah Huang was born in Hubei, China. Together with his beloved wife, Saan Saan Aw Yong, they have two daughters. At the age of 20, while in Wellington, he repented and accepted Christ. After graduation, he worked as a salesperson for two companies. At the age of 27, he dedicated himself to study theology. He graduated from Singapore Bible College at age 32, and in 2016, began serving in Dunedin Chinese Methodist Church. He is dedicated to the life-changing ministry of discipleship training and is passionate in preaching and teaching. He hopes to continue growing in his prayer life and in evangelism. Rev Huang loves to garden. In addition to reading, he also enjoys NBA, video games, music, and cooking.

He is the Pastor-in-charge of the Dunedin Chinese Methodist Church.
